Good cellular deals?

I need a basic cellular phone (not too many minutes, not too many features) and was wondering what the best plan is out there.. Here's the best deal I was able to find... I'd have to travel a bit to sign up (this place is like 30 miles away) so I'd prefer to sign up online.... So, yeah.. Anyone?

ATT GSM Local Plan
19.99/month (so it should be around 32 after tax)
700 Peak minutes
Free Nights & Weekends (1 year contract)
Free Long Distance
Roaming Fees apply
GSM based service
1 year contract

It's actually $39.99 a month but they apply a $20/month credit to your bill.. I'm fine with the price but would prefer to work with an online dealer instead. Their choice of free phones is also kinda weak.

That seems like a decent deal 🙂

You could ask the folks here. I wouldn't get AT&T in my area, my bro-in-law and everyone I know with it has terrible reception, just our area? Could be 🙂

Cool! I'll join their forum soon. Any other suggestions? I'd sign up with this company but their selection of phones kinda suck.

Why do you need a fancy phone for a basic cell plan?

I don't NEED a fancy phone, really. I just really dislike the funky looking nokias that they have and the other ones are on the big side.. I'm just looking for more options, I may go with this dealer but I'd just like to hear what else is out there.
