Hi everyone

I'm looking for a new cell phone. Does anyone know who has good coverage in the northern VA/DC area? Is GSM pretty decent up there? What's the difference between AT&T's GSM vs. T-Mobile's GSM? How about Sprint or Verizon?

Thanks in advance,

Cathy :)

Hmm... maybe no one has cell phones in Virginia? Or.... did I say something wrong again?

Go to amazon and put in your zip, they will list what phones athey have and also a lot of carriers for that area.

I am from Arlington and have T-mobile. It works great when I'm outside but I find the reception a little lacking indoors.

For example, my officemate has Verizon and gets a full signal in our office. I get no signal. Verizon also works in the Metro.

I'll probably be switching to Verizon when my contract is up. I got T-mobile because they had the best plan (600 anytime, unlimited nights/weekends) but I find I never use that many anytime minutes and the Verizon package of 400 anytime, unlimited N/W plus 1000 mobile to mobile (all my friends have Verizon) sounds awesome
