Good CD-burning prog for laptop?

I have a toshiba laptop with a DVD/Cd-RW combo and i am trying to find a good program that will work with the burner. I really don't like the software that Toshiba included and have normally burned things using Nero on my desktop computer. However, when i tried to use Nero on my laptop it would not detect the burner. Anyone know what the problem may be or have another program they use to burn stuff on their laptop? Thanks.
 
nero should detect anything....are you using a full version of nero?
you could also try easy cd creator although nero is easily your best choice.
