I've been planning a system part by part. Everything has been chosen but my case. I don't really see much about cases on many sites. I'm looking for something w/ 250 power, and removable side if I can get it.

What companies make a good case? Links would be helpful. Thanks.

I have an enlight case and it's awesome i love it a ton. has removable sides and all the 3-1/2 and 5-1/4 trays all slide out so there's no need to really mess with a ton of screws. really handy if/when you have to change bays a bunch. I think it's the 5600 series or something like that, not totally sure but it's got 4 5-1/4 slots, 2 3-1/2 slots, and 2 hidden 3-1/2 slots, with an 80mm fan at the front end and a 250 power supply.

if you don't need an exceptional case then i'd say go for an enligh 7237. it's cheap, and damn effective. great for modding, the airflow is excellent, and it's small and not bulky at all. the side panels come off easily and the PSU isn't too shabby at all. anything more would be stepping into the bigger cases which you don't seem to need, the Antec SX1030, etc.

Let me tell you.....it DOES NOT get any better than that!

enlight 7230 series...they have these at both onvia, or buy.com for around 57 dollars. They come with an extra fan. You need to do a search for enlight and the product number will have something 723xxxxx. You can look at that part number at enlightcorp.com. Thats my suggestion.

I'll throw in my usual vote for the Antec sx830. With 4 case fans plus the power supply fan this thing is down right frosty, and has plenty of room for a six pack. :D

'Nother vote for the SX830. Mine is kept cool with 2 80mm stock, one Sunon 80mm blowhole on the side, a 120mm intake cut into the front, and a 92 up on top...pretty nice

Toss in another vote for the antec SX830. I love this case. I have two stock fans and two Panaflo LIA's. VERY QUIET and COOL.

I know this company is still an unknown to many people, but "Avance Technologies" make great cases.

Before you buy a case ask yourself - what part of the system will most likely stay around for several upgrade cycles? The most likely answer - the case. So why cheap out? You get what you pay for. I've had mine for going on two years which is an eternity for any part in my house. I still like it, lots of room, runs cool, it's quiet, and it's expandable.

Talk to Jim Hanson @ CoolCases he carries some of the best cases around. The best part is Jim will work with you to determine which case best suits your needs.

(Though I still think the pop-top mod on the Chenbro Genie should be called the "Ej-top" ;) )

I like Enlight's cases. Right now I have a 7237 with a 300Watt power supply and a 6680 with a 250Watt power supply. Great cases.

My vote for the Enlight 7237....Axiontech.com has it for $49.95 with 250W PS or $59.95 with 300W PS. BTW they have no profit on shipping giving you some of the lowest rates around.

I have the enlight 7237, and I like it alot. Great for modding! I also like the inwinn cases though. The inwinn q500 is really awsome, if you don't mind a full tower. Won't break the bank buying it either.

Should I stick with my PC Power & Cooling mid-tower or get an Antec? Also, can I get an Antec without the power supply, I want to put an Enermax 330Watt in?

Nobody buys generic? I like to buy the Super Cases about $46 shipped. They have a full tower version for about $85 shipped. I like these cases alot. They are cheap enough to cut up without getting to worried about it and you can always sell them for the same price you payed when you bought it.

Hey Jumpem - If you don't want your Antec P303X (assuming you get it) - I'll take it from you for $20 shipped.

I'll place another vote for the Antec - Not b/c I've used their cases but b/c their fans are thermally controlled so they'll slow down when your system is idle. Perfect for when you want to go to sleep w/o hearing a lawn mower's worth of sound in the room.

I like my Elan Vital T-10. It has good airflow and it looks great.
