Good Car Power Inverter for Laptop?

What kind of laptop do you have? Many laptops require at least 90 watts...

I got a 400W, 120V inverter, dual outlet from BB a few years ago. The only thing I have had to do is to solder on new terminal clips since the old ones broke. 120V is just enough to power a normal laptop and a small set of powered speakers. I think it cost like $40 and its totally been worth it.

ibm thinkpad t4x

Google for the wattage on your specific model. If it's under 80 watts, pick this one up for cheap:

PM me if you want a coupon code for it too.

i'm having a tough time finding the wattage. where's a good place to look? it's a t43p.

Looks like it uses a 72 watt A/C adapter. You should be fine with that 80-watt inverter. Alternatively you can just go to your local Wal-mart to pick one up.

American household voltage can vary from 110V to 120V. Most AC-DC converters support input from a range that includes those.
