I have read a lot of great reviews of the asus p5w board, but $200 is a little more than I want to spend on a motherbord, especially if I decided to go with an e6600. Anyone have a board for around the $100 price range they would recommend for me, it would be neat if it had SOME o/c ability but not a necessity. Anyone have experience with the gigabyte ga-965p-s3? I'm new to the intel side of things, still considering a 4600+ amd w\ msi board, but if I can get a solid c2d board and e660 for around $400 range I may just have to do it. Thanks!

if you're not lookin for a super overclocker the 945g chipsets are a good option. asrock has the conroe945g-dvi, conroexfire-esata2, twins775-hdtv r2.0, and 775dual-vsta. asus also has the p5b-mv board that's about 100, as well as the p5l series, p5b series (vanilla and lower versions are cheaper), and a very nice p5n series line. gigabyte and msi offers some other options but i havent looked that deep into theirs yet, as the gigabytes dont have much overclocking options (so i hear), and the msi has almost no info about theirs.
