Hi. I'm having problems with my LG DVD-RW - every disc fails during the burning process. I've tried diferent media types, no go.
I'm going to try a diferent software to exclude this one too. I have the latest firmware installed also.
So, is there any? Thanks.

alcohol only copies and burn CDS...you can't create a cd with data to be burned using alcohol.

Plextor bundles Roxio in the US/North America and Nero in the rest of the world. You can get Roxio basic OEM for less than $10. all over the web. It works well for me and I also like Nero.
. But before getting all antsy and installing/uninstalling a bunch of different burning softwares, try installing or updating your ASPI layer software first (download from Adaptec.com or from nero.com if you want to use that version). I know it is for SCSI but it does seem to help resolve some burner problems for some reason.

Ultimately it belonged in General Hardware. ;)
