Good bang for the buck 2x1GB kits?

Hey all,
I'm itching to upgrade to 2x1GB, but I can't justify spending $300+ on the Ballistix or OCZ PC4000 kits. These would be nice as I could probly run 1:1 on my 170 (when I get it), but not nice enough for that $$$

What kind of good bang for the buck kits can you all recommend for OCing and running on a divider? I've seen several on NewEgg as well as some decent brands for decent money, but what is everyone here using?

If running on a divider I'd suggest Patriot's 2-3-2 1GB dimms. They may overclock half-decently, but even if they dont they run at pretty tight timings.

Thanks What do those OCZ OC to? Not worth the high latencies if it won't do like 240+ IMO

I was looking at the g.skill extreme series single last night since it is the cheapest on RTP with a heat spreader and cas 2.

Hmm...the higher speed rating on that is nice but the review their said he couldn't get it past 220. I'd imagine most of the other sticks linked above will break 220
