Hey,
I need to look into new backup solutions for my department at the University of Pittsburgh. We had a 9 tape HP DLT1 autoloader and a PC running Veritas BackupExec 8.6 for Windows. The tape drive died and BackupExec isn't the greatest either so we are looking at getting a new backup sytem.
I need about 360 gigs capacity (per set of tapes, uncompressed) I have a $5,000 upper limit.
My requirements for backup software are:
1- it run from a central machine
2- it can backup Microsoft Exchange servers
3- it can back up Windows 2000 pro and XP workstations
4- it ca back up Windows 2000 Servers
Thanks
EDIT: I also need to back up a few Linux machines, I don't want Linux support to be limited to Red Hat.
