I started a new job 11 months ago, moved to another state - and now deal almost exclusively with ids, firewalls, and exploits. This means that I'm 1. extremely busy and 2. don't have access to systems like I used to.
- is growing stagnant. It needs a boost of content. I really slacked this past year, when there were plenty of good articles to write like RFID based viruses, new cell phone bluetooth vulnerabilities, etc. I'm asking for:
- Anybody whom is a systems administrator, deals with antivirus or spyware regularly, and would like to contribute timely articles (such as when a new outbreak occurs, or new malware is identified). I will pay.
- Anybody whom wants to do research of some of the cool malware/worm issues that popped up in the past few years, for which an article isn't already written for on -. I need to back-grow my db of content to improve search engine results. This I will pay for as well.
- Anybody that wants to help with the forums. I already have one guy by the name of Thomas who popped in one day and put his full effort into helping people almost daily. This would be volunteer only.
Special thanks to mechBgon and Schadenfroh who already contributed some great material over the years. I would have thanked Reel, but he bailed on me before he finished his article then got a security job that pays more than mine. :| j/k 😉
