GTX480's are 30% faster then crossfired 5870's @ 2500x1600.
I thought the gtx line sucked @ this res. ?

Edit: The only bad part is, they only use a stock core i7 @ 3.3ghz. I think they should do a little overclock on the cpu.

As resolution increases, the gap between a single 5870 and a GTX480 decreases from what I've seen. But with two cards it seems like the opposite is happening, two 5870's fall further behind two GTX480's as resolution increases. Either Nvidia got something really right with SLI as resolution increases, or AMD has something really wrong.

Or the code in the games is not well optimized for one or the other. 🙄

I think that both scales pretty much the same, is just that GTX 4x0 series scaling is more consistent without variables regarding resolution, detail level or usage of anti aliasing, it would seems that the GTX 4x0 series architecture is better balanced for that.
