Overall they rate the e8500 as overpriced and the e8400 as the sweet spot even without overclocking taken into account.

Great review including comparison to C2Q (6700/6600), older C2D (6850/6750/6550/4500), top end X2 (6400/6000) and the first-generation Phenom X4 (9600/9500). Hopefully they will update with some newer Phenom results.
