Good app for DVD playback?

I finally installed a DVD-ROM/burner in my compuer, and also just upgraded to a nice 20" widescreen LCD.

I'm looking for a good application for DVD playback. Right now my computer just has Winamp for mp3s, as well as Windows Media Player. I'm not sure how either of these are for watching DVD's.

I'm looking for something simple, with a simple interface that isn't a memory hog. Preferably something free/downloadable.

Recommendations?
 
Media Player Classic.

I prefer VLC for most everything, but it sucks for movie playback, so i use MPC.
 
Can't really beat Media Player Classic!! I guess it lacks some of the DVD specific features of PowerDVD and WinDVD but it sure plays them and other videos fine.
