Good Antivirus

I have Kaspersky AV Personal 5, but from what Kaspersky says it doesn't run on x64 and I am now trying to find a good AV scanner for x64.

I also bought Bitdefender 9 Standard, does anyone know how well it works on x64?

THANKS

No it doesn't if you look in the "Computer Manager" - "Event Viewer" there are some files that get blocked and I forgot where it is at in the panel, but the registry section when I clicked on that in Bitdefender it would'nt work.

Now I'm talking about Bitdefender Standard 9, not the free one.

THANKS

P.S. I bought NOD32, loving it, so I'll stick to it. 😉

This question is asked at least once a week. 😛 Why did you switch to x64?

Kaspersky v6 (beta) works in x64. Since you already have BD v9 I'd use it.

I'm using the Avast 4 Antivirus, it is 64 bit compliant and is free for home users. It is very reliable and has actually gotten rid of viruses which stupid Windows One Care Live Beta let through my computer easily. It has also prevented viruses from entering my system 2-3 times. Avast releases new definations every 2-3 days.
