Here is mine:

Being Patriotic also means to throw it back when the law hands you a warm sack of sh!t. In my case, that sack of sh!t is the DMCA.

Here are some quotes that could also be applied against the DMCA:

"To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men."
--- Abraham Lincoln

"The true danger is when liberty is nibbled away, for expedients, and by parts ... the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
--- Edmund Burke

So.. what's your anti-DMCA, RIAA, MPAA, or corporations enacting law quote? Any good analogies?

I really hate the DMCA. Next thing you know, they'll enact a law that says it's illegal to physically look at the parts inside your DVD player.

DMCA will never succeed until all the people over the world agree to abide with its rules and that is probably never going to happen.

Strange then, because by that standard, every single law ever passed in the history of mankind has been a complete failure.

Of course, no law is passed with the expectation that it will result in 100% compliance. I'm fairly certain that bank robberies and murders still happen and I'm equally certain nobody thought they would magically 'go away' after making those things a crime.

Obviously that is true. But the CBDTPA (related to the DMCA, but much worse) attempts to ban an implement that could be used to commit a crime (a personal computer or other "digital device" without a hardware spy and cop chip). This is just as idiotic as trying to ban rocks because they can be used to stone people.
