Although I haven't made the switch to FX processor line, I've been using the Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 (990x chipset, not 990FX) with my 1100t phenom. Been a good overclocker for me, reliable and I've only had one minor annoying problem with it. Occasionally when I reboot it will lose the USB mouse...I simply unplug it and plug it back in and its fixed. Doesn't happen all the time and I rarely reboot my PC anyways. Has 2 USB 3.0ports on the rear and an internal header for two more.

Can you give some more details about what size you want, price, and any other features you are looking for? Pretty much any new motherboard will have a header for USB 3.0 (you just want to make sure you have a case with the correct socket).

I have always been a fan of Gigabyte:

of the computer case...lol

I am probably missing something then. The motherboard you choose (based on what's out there currently) is not going to have anything to do with the motherboard ports on your case.
