I have a mid-tower case (Lian Li 7B-II; 19.3'' in height) and am looking for a heatsink to replace the stock AM2 cooler. My system has been running very warm recently (52C constant), and I think that replacing the stock heatsink could help cooling (correct me if I'm wrong).
The type of h/s I am looking for is one where I wouldn't have to remove it if I need to install more RAM (ie: the new Enzo-tech - thing is a monster...I own it and will be returning it for store credit - I need suggestions for the replacement). I'd also like to get a heatsink that will help cool my entire system; I've seen many that will help ventiliation by blowing the system heat towards the back exhaust fan.
Any suggestions? The Enzo-Tech cost $59.99, so that is my budget for the replacement.
