Good air freshner for large basement room?

I'm in the process of finishing up my 'basement mod' to a partially-finished room in my basement and need to find a good air freshener for this room. My dog stays in the room during the day while we're at work and while he's a fairly small dog and doesn't really stink it up much I'm sure it will start smelling some if I don't get an air freshener down here soon. The room previously had exposed concrete floors, but now has carpet which holds odors longer. I've got a dehumidifier going to keep the humidity down to the ~45-50% range. Now I need to find what I hope will be a relatively inexpenive air freshener solution. The room is 24' x 13'.

Besides spending a fortune on plug-ins and periodically spraying it with quick fix aerosols do any of you guys have a recommendation on an air freshener that will work effectively for this room?

those plugins that use the oil.. ummm *runs to check whats in her litter box room*... Wizard Air Wicks.. Those work really well. I prefer the citrus scent.

a buddy of mine use those car scent things, u know the ones u hang in your car to give u a certain smell, u could get a new car smell and then people would love you for it hehe

I think he used it cuz the smell just covered the nasty smells, but also didn;t overwhelm the people down there.
