Good ADSL modems to use with Smoothwall in the UK?

I have just ordered wires only ADSL. This means that no engineer visits and we have to install microfilter(s) and an ADSL modem or router.

Since we already have a SmoothWall we do not require a router, just an ADSL modem.

One of the SmoothWall contributors describes his experience with the same problem here. He used the Asus AAM6000EV ADSL Router. I'm looking for any input on good routers modems and also advice from people who have gone through the procedure.

Any help is appreciated. 🙂
