I'm looking for some good 3rd-party ink for my Canon ip1500 (both black and color cartridges). I mostly print out notes and papers for classes so it doesn't have to be flawless for photos or last for 50 years or anything like that. Does anyone have any recommendations?
The USAInjket store on eBay has good prices - when I had an i450 which used the bci24 series tanks, the color from the USA tanks was great. But when I went to the iP3000 which uses a different set of tanks, the USA tanks looked washed out. You can try some of the i24s, they are very cheap. They cost more if you go direct to their web sites (tylermartin.com or usainkjet.net) for some reason. The USA brand looks better to me than the rainbow brand that they also carry. If you want to check out the rainbow brand, then it't the Tylermartin1 store on eBay.
. I've switched to http://www.swiftink.com for my iP3k and the colors are much better - not as cheap as USA, but mucho better than OEM prices (now ~$14. each at Staples). I haven't tried or seen their i24 series inks.
