This is my gaming system:

Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz 800Mhz
ASUS P4P800 865PE Bios 1008 (PAT Enabled)
Corsair 1024MB (512X2) CMX3200C2
Western Digital 80 GB 7200RPM 8MB
Gigabyte RADEON 9800 Pro 128MB DDR

This is my 3DMark Scores, without OC:
2001 - 17600
2003 - 5800

Good scores for my rig? Can it do better (without OC)?

Mine is a similar system:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz 800mhz
Intel Motherboard
512 PC 3200 RAM
Western Digital 120 GB 7200RPM 8mb Cache
ATI Radeon 9800np - clocked to 410/352 (In first test - in the second one i'm gonna bring it to 418/360 - max it goes)

3DMark
2001 - 16866 (That was with 256 RAM - with 512 it has dropped over 1000 points - still trying to figure out why)
2003 - 5850 (With the 410/352 OC)

You should overclock yours if you need more performance, but it is still high for now.

Very accerate!

58**
P4C 2.8
Video not OC...

6061
P4C 2.8@3.02
Video 420/351 OC (Had artifacts, but I got it over that damn 6000 barrier!)

----
512MB PC3500 2,3,3,7
Abit IC7-G
ATI 9800 Pro 128
Raid 0 via Sata & Intel SBridge
Keeping the P4 @ 3.02 (very stable), Video is set at a conservative 387/348.

I seem to be getting 4363 with my PC (see sig). Compared to all of your PC's, this seems to be rather low. I even have AF and AA disabled and to top it all off, I have defragmented my hard drive. Surely I must be getting higher than what I am gettin currently?

BTW, I ahven't OC'ed anything obviously.

Are you using the catalyst 3.6 drivers? I got crappy performance with the 3.2's the board came with...

BTW: 'Regs' I've run it again, and post a link to the board.

Yes, I am running catalyst 3.6 drivers. The 3d mark03 is the 330 version.

BTW, my 3dmark01 score is about 15500

Yes your scores are just a tad low. Try using 3.5 because some people have performance issues with the 3.6. Turn VSYNC and TruForm off. See if there are any new drivers for your mobo. Make sure you have nothing else running. Other than that, the only way to improve performance is to OC your video card (affects more in 3dmark 03).
I dont think you should be worried because I am getting the same thing after I put in the falsely marked PC3200 RAM. I used to get around 16,800 but now I get the same as you. Your 3dmark 01 seems fine but your 3dmark03 is low - fixing something on the video card end will increase that.

Good Luck

I tried everything you've told me Questi, and it increases the 3D mark01 score by about 100, whilst increasing the 3D mark 03 score by 150. I'm gonna give overclocking a go, just to see whether it is the speed of the card causing the main problem. Maybe the card is underclocked? What were your stock settings for the card and what did you overclock it to?

Also, sorry for hijacking your thread CreativeX....

Using 3.5's I get about 6300 in 2k3 and about 18250 in 2k1. This is at 420/360, which I don't get any artifacts or lockups even after a lot of use. Using a 2.4ghz athlon.

I'm using 3.5's now, and managed to rack up a score of 6000 in 3D mark03, and 15988 in 3D mark01. This is WITH the card overclocked to 420/360. The card seems to work fine on this setting for most of the demo, but shows the SLIGHTEST of artifacting in a few places.

Can anyone tell me whether this is an accurate score for the card?
