Good 2.1 Speakers w/BASS?!?

Hi everyone...I have the Philips MMS305 right now, but the bass is REALLY weak compared to my old ( old as in previous AND pretty much discontinued ) Altec Lansing 2.1s....
So I was looking to get another set of speakers, preferably 2.1, with good bass all around...i.e. I feel rockets coming at my rather than just hearing them 😉

budget range is about 50 dollars

Thanks~

Yeap, that's me. The BB I got from is in Springfield, YMMV.

I've heard that the Altec Lansing ATP3W 2.1 system is pretty good and it's in the $50-$60 range.

I remember people whored the ATP3 on the black friday. They sold for $5.

I have the Yamaha MS50's and the Bass is very decent for something in the price range, and the sound quality overall is very good (for the price).
