I just moved into a new apartment, and it was one of those built in computer desks. Needless to say, the desk is no big enough for my 19" CRT. I have the damn thing sideways on the best, and the keyboard sideways in front of it. I really want to get a flat panel. I have a 25% of flat panel coupon at Dell, so I'm trying to decide what to get. I'm on a budget right now, but I do have some money for my birthday that I can spend. It's only $220, so I need to keep the price around there.
Anyway, with my coupon I can get the Dell UltraSharp 1505FP 15" for $195. This has DVI and a 16ms resonse time. But, it is only 15"
Or I can get the E173FP 17" This has no DVI, and I believe a 25ms response time, but it is 17". I can get this for $179.40 with the coupon.
I do't game that much on this computer anymore, not to say I won't. I do want to get half-life 2. So, which one should I get? Keep in mind I'm used to a 19" CRT.
