Gonna travel, need PDA recommendation for email.

What kind of price range? What OS do you prefer? What connectivity (cell phone as modem, bluetooth, wifi, 56k, lan, etc?)
 
i really like the blackberry by verison. its not really a pda but i am able to get all me email, and it has everything i need. Its also very easy to use.

It's really for my brother who isn't very handy with computers so I don't know which OS he'd feel most comfortable with. As to the connectivity, we probably need to check with the area he's going to.
I've never owned or even tried a PDA so I'm of no help. I suppose he'll use it to connect with family. I was hoping to find something that has what he needs but no more.
