Which company's card should i buy? Does it make a difference....? any suggestions on where to buy it from?
I want the 128 mb 8x version. if there is a abetter card in this price range any suggestions will be greatly apppreciated.

Also, should i buy the ti4200 or the 256mb fx5200 or the 256mb ati 9200?

any one have any experiences with any of these cards? Thanks.

The Ti4200 will be faster than either of those other two cards. And 256mb on those older cards is quite useless. If you're an overclocker, I'd get the Asus ti4200 w/ 3.3ns ram from Newegg. If not, get any decent brand name card. (Asus, MSI, Albratron, PNY, BFG, Chaintech, etc...) If you're not oc'ing it won't make much of a diff, except for the bundle (games + software) it comes with.

ti4200 it is then, is albatron pretty good? can it be overclocked? that or the BFG? Thanks.

Can i not overclock my geforce 2 gts ? its a hercules gts pro 32mb ram, i got the newest drivers just yesterday.

Powerstrip will allow you to overclock just about any card made in the last 5 years. I never overclocked my GF2 GTS, but my PNY Ti4200 goes to 300/600 without a hitch.

Please don't spend $146 on a new 4200 when you can buy a lightly used one in the FS/FT forums for ~$85 I also think the albatron be nice most get a good OC goin on
