What's the restock fee on something like that?

The standard 15%

luckily they were defective so I had no restocking fee.

Im going to be building a new computer soon. I built my last one but that was 4 to 5 years ago (good ol BX chipset). Has anything major changed since then, or is it pretty much all the same stuff. Is there a difference between hooking up those fast ATA harddrives vs an older ISA rig for example?

Nothing's really changed in the past 5 years. In fact most stuff has regressed due to the "tech slump". I'll sell you my top-of-the-line P200MMX. It's got quality EDO ram and, get this, a disk drive. And with initials like MMX, how can you lose?

😉
