Gonna be in AZ for vacation

Let see im gonna be out there at the end of this month for a week. I'll have a rent a car and will be staying at a resort in scottsdale. I'd like to do some fun and intresting things that AZ has to offer. I like cultural and active stuff to do. Can any ya'll recommend me sites and activities? hiking? skydiving? museums? i looked online but i know its better to get some info from people who live there.

actually the guy was going to phoenix specifically, but it was like just a week ago.

Phoenix...golf, and lot's of it. Culture? Hardly any, the town is mostly new. Check out some car shows, those can be fun.
I would recommend other towns for touring, like mentioned above.
maybe catch a dback game, the stadium is pretty cool.

Besides that, maybe go swimming a lot because the weather is atrociously hot.
