*GONE* VisionTek Radeon HD 4870 in stock at Newegg

The only 4870 brand in stock on Newegg, and it's a VisionTek which is great. If you wait a few weeks or so I'm sure the price will drop below the $300 level, but if you can't wait, I'd jump on this. In stock as of 9:23PM eastern time.

I love how newegg gets confused regarding specs on so many items. I admit that it can be a little bit confusing that 900x4 = 3600, but how long have people been talking about this??? They should let the manufacturer fill in the "specifications" screen...

I never trust Newegg specs for items, most of them are usually correct, but I've spotted errors on many products I've bought. Usually I already know everything about the product I'm going to buy so it's not that big of a deal, just a little annoying.

People should just sign up for auto-notify on all of the 4870 brands they're willing to buy. When you get the email dash to the site and order just the 4870 by itself before it sells out.

amazingly, the VT 4870 is still available. that's so crazy, I don't think that most people know about their lifetime warranty. That's worth at least an extra $15-$20 in my book.

it's amazing that the 4870's aren't sticking around longer now that you can buy a 666 mhz core gtx 260 for $467 shipped...
