It's a free Notebook Cable Lock. I just got mine today in the mail. Then I went to Best Buy to get a 100pk Imation spindle and noticed that BB was selling a comparable lock for $39.99.

They may get your Notebook by cutting the cable, but the lock is still attached and they will damn near destroy the case getting it off. Guess you have to figure they screw the resale value of your stolen Notebook. Anyway, free is good and this is a quality freebie. Get the DriftGuru?

the lock attaches to a small hole on the back of most notebooks. you loop the lock around something immovable (sp?) and it's tied down. it prolly tells you on the site in better detail.

I got mine a few days ago. Very nice. Most notebooks have a small little keyhole at the side or back, usually marked with a small symbol of a lock. The lock has a part which goes into this keyhole, and it is secured by turning a key (which you then remove and put in your pocket). On my Walmart HP n5125, the keyhole is located on the left side, right behind the PC Card slots.
 
I got the BMW P4 ROADSTER 256MB V6/2.8 L convertible with the microsaver lock included
I think they are out of blue ones
They had alot of red left
Survey was kinda long but the BMW is worth it I guess.
