I made this thread long ago for HL2 gifting, but its more of a general gifting thread imo.

IF anyone has any other games they will to give for free, contact my steam account- blooddog28 (not very hopeful) all i got right now on steam is half life 2 deathmatch and half life 2 lost coast. (FREE) I don't have a credit card so i can't buy anything....

Ah, there it is. That's the thread I was looking for prior to making this thread.

Maybe the mods could just make a sticky general gifting thread here? A fair number of Steam games nowadays come with something for free that often times people already have so there are gifts to be had to people that have never played it.

Having a general gifting thread is a great idea, but in the end it will be too hard to figure out what is available/gone. You'd have to sift through multiple pages of posts to see what was still there or not.
