will fade off the national scene after the election?

no chance, she's going to join Huckabee over at fox, probably a morning show. "Huckster and the Mavrick" or something.

a Huckabee/Palin morning show sounds really, really watchable :)

I don't think Huck would like being lumped in with a total nitwit.

Mike and the Mav? come on, it practically writes itself.

if you think Palin is a nitwit compared to Huckabee, you're vastly overestimating the Huckster :p

I was hoping for a Huckabee-McCain ticket.
Mike and the Mad Dog.

that's a reach. Obama's appeared on SNL at least once (was supposed to have been on the weekend before the GOP convention, IIRC, but canceled at the last minute). I wouldn't say he was thinking about his political career post-defeat... it seems like a fun experience with no real downsides.

SNL wouldn't give her the time of day after November 4th, so might as well get those popularity points now.

I'm hoping and praying its Palin in 2012.

Oh yeah, it sounds like she's cool enough to roll with the punches, but people still don't know who the real Sarah Palin is. There are too many unanswered questions.

Actually I think SNL may make her do subtle self parody and she will not realize it till later. After all the comedy writers are doing the writing not the campaign staff. And if the campaign staff are involved then it will not be funny.

It will be like in the old John Belushi days when Joe Cocker was the musical guest. Painfully unfunny-of course that pretty much describes SNL except for the Fey as Palin bits.

Dude, you are showing your age. 30 percent of young people get their news from Jon Stewart and the other 70 percent from instant messaging.

And like, 80% of angry white men get their news from conservative talk radio.

No, she released her own report exonerating herself.
The real investigation is still ongoing.

As I said in a prior post, nothing is better in terms of pure comedy gold than Sarah Palin herself. Accept no inferior substitutes. Even a comedic genius like Tina Fey can not possibly tap Palin true grit nit wit.

I sure hope she gets nominated as well. She'd have no hope against Obama.

Troopergate will fuck her career for sure.

Are you gonig to vote for someone that has been known to abuse power??? Or act like an idiot in front of Katie Courice and turns off independents? Come on now.

4 years is a long, long time, especially if she returns to Alaska and continues her 80% approval-worthy performance as governor.

Dunno about troopergate screwing her career, specially in Alaska, it might stop her appearance on SNL. The opportunity to have skits based on abuse of power would be too much for SNL to pass over!

Well she has all 3 electoral votes from Alaska locked up only 267 more to go.

This is going to confuse all those supporters who were so hellbent against SNL and Tina Fey...and the MSM!

How is this helping with Palin's efforts to get her word out directly to the American people without the filter of the MSM?
Maybe the jokes will fly right over her head and be really hilarious or be boring and not funny. Does she have a sense of humor? Didn't she admit to watching Fey on SNL without sound? What's the deal with that?

Maybe she was at work.

Or maybe she just thinks Tina Fey is hot.

:D

True, let's see some Palin on Palin action!

Ahhh this made me lol at work :D

All they have to do is interview her for an hour and a half and everyone will be laughing their asses off
