SOCCER moms and Joe Sixpacks, listen up. Get your beer, mooseburgers and caribou dips ready. Sarah Palin is doing "Saturday Night Live." Not Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin doing "Saturday Night Live." But the Sarah Herself. She has already OK'd it. She's booked. It's confirmed. Done deal. Sketches are being sketched as we speak. She - eyeglasses, haircomb, designer jacket and trunkful of gosh-darns, golly-gees and gol-dangs - will be on "SNL" Saturday night, Oct. 25. Sarah's rehearsal time has already been penciled in for Friday the 24th. And it's because she wants to do it.

She's offering herself for comedy but I expect Tina Fey will get a lot more material for future SNL' shows.

But gotta give Sarah that she has a sense of humor, or is it any media exposure is good exposure to remain in the limelight since it looks likely she will not be the VP and will fade off the national scene after the election?

Will SNL make her play the Church Lady?

Watch the ratings go up for her after this as the plebs are shown her "human" side.

This is going to confuse all those supporters who were so hellbent against SNL and Tina Fey...and the MSM!

How is this helping with Palin's efforts to get her word out directly to the American people without the filter of the MSM?
Maybe the jokes will fly right over her head and be really hilarious or be boring and not funny. Does she have a sense of humor? Didn't she admit to watching Fey on SNL without sound? What's the deal with that?

As opposed to her being forced to do it?

Think of it this way:

McCain doesn't have many places to go with his career if he loses this election.

Palin is becomming a GOP star and is only getting more media attention by the day. Her career and celebrity is skyrocketing.

Palin '12 ??????

no chance, she's going to join Huckabee over at fox, probably a morning show. "Huckster and the Mavrick" or something.

Doncha mean she'll be mavericky as all heck?

You betcha.

That aside, Palin won't be a star, she is going to be blamed when McCain loses, with good reason, and if justice prevails, will probably be removed as governor.

Doubt it. They'll blame McCain cause he won't matter anymore (besides they already are uncomfortable with him) and pimp Palin up for next time.

Does this mean Tina Fey has plans to run for VP?

No, but Tina Fey has more brains in one of her, admittedly small, b**bs, than Palin has in her whole body.

If McCain had picked Fey he might still have a chance.

Two weeks is a long time in politics. The ongoing suspense of the Troopergate investigation, the implosion of the McCain campaign strategy, and the backlash of turned off voters to negative attack ads might make her appearance on SNL look like she is too flip in her attitude towards respectability.

Oh yeah, it sounds like she's cool enough to roll with the punches, but people still don't know who the real Sarah Palin is. There are too many unanswered questions.

I don't think Huck would like being lumped in with a total nitwit.

Sounds like she's already thinking about her political career post-loss.

SNL wouldn't give her the time of day after November 4th, so might as well get those popularity points now.

Mike and the Mav? come on, it practically writes itself.

if you think Palin is a nitwit compared to Huckabee, you're vastly overestimating the Huckster :p
