I'm about half way through the season. It's entertaining, but not great. Billy Bob is mailing it in, playing Billy Bob as a lawyer this time. Or... Bad Santa went to law school.

I expect more and more of these series made for Amazon/Netflix/whoever are going to be like this ... churned out as filler with a big name or two in the cast to generate some attention.

Amazon tends to botch them, Netflix does them better. Epix has a couple decent shows.

Yes and am desperate for them to release more episodes then the two I have seen.

I'd rather avoid that, I'll join after the entire first season has aired.

Then I'll have to wait for the second season, assuming it's renewed.

I finished it yesterday, first half was pretty awesome, second half, the last couple of episodes were very straight predictable story line. In fact it was so straight and predictable and happy ending that I didn't expect it. Also the plot twists towards the end were pretty weak and rushed. I would definitely recommend it though, definitely above average for cheap TV standard.

Goliath is well worth watching.

Most other things have been mentioned. It's well above a lot of your usual shows IMHO.

Finished this earlier this week. Fun show, love Billy Bob acting like he always does. Enjoyed the rest of the case too.

Epix is cable channel and seems only available through slingtv for cord cutters. So it's $20 + $5 = $25. Hopefully the shows will turn up on hulu or Amazon.

yeah, the whole hooker (Britney) turning on Billy was WTF?!

1) what did the cop do after he pulled her over and threw her to the ground?

2) Betraying Billy seemed sooo out of character.
what kind of legal trouble did Britney get into?
when?
and why couldn't she turn to Billy for help?

3) in the last episode after she testified against him, she looked desperate and wanted 5min of Billy's time. Billy drove away.
what happened to her? no closure?

4) who killed the DEA informer Karl Stoltz and put him into Billy's trunk? that cop?
