Was Zeus an angel and Hercules a demigod say like goliath? Is it possible that the myths coincide with the bible. Maby that why the flood happened. The bible does reference angels having offspring with humans.
 
zeus is the greek localization of dyeau pitar which is the chief diety of the indo european pantheon dyeus pitar himself may be descended from a north eurasian chief sky diety that is the same diety as tengri and the sky father of native american religions. the earth mother is also commonly found in these religions
