Police in west suburban Naperville are investigating residents' complaints about an outing on a local golf course that featured strippers cavorting with players, WGN-Ch. 9 reported.
An Elgin strip club rented out the Country Lakes Golf Course on Monday to entertain some customers, according to CLTV.
The course is surrounded by homes, and WGN obtained a videotape of the incident taken by one resident.
The tape showed one man apparently getting a lap dance in a golf cart. Another man played golf with his arms wrapped around a woman. At least one other image showed a woman in a short skirt in a lewd pose with golfers.
No nudity was evident on the tape, but residents were still upset.
"There's always children out here," Cathy Jaeger, a neighbor who videotaped the incident, told WGN. "It's during the summer, in the middle of the day, and what's going on out here shouldn't have been taking place when there was children."
"Times were, there'd be several girls on top of each other, and they were lying on top of the tees, doing different seductive moves," Jaeger said. "They were trying to get tips from the gentlemen. They were all wearing garter belts."
An 8-year-old youth who witnessed the outing, Marcellous Johnson, told WGN, "It was nasty. Because their chests were showing, and stuff."
Naperville Police Lt. Ken Parcell told WGN, "We're going to continue to review (the tape) and try to identify if there's any activity which would be worth prosecuting and meet with our state's attorney to once again discuss it."
