Hm, you could do similar, just make it for North America and cut the courses down to the ones worth traveling to... major resorts, famous courses, Top 100 public courses. Have good objective reviews (most sites pander), provide links to travel agents and golf packages and whatnot. Lots of people do golf vacations, but it's difficult to find any web resource that's more than an advertisement. Your site could answer the question of whether I want to go to say, Myrtle Beach or Pinehurst. Comparison would include costs, scenery, quality of golf, weather, travel considerations, things to do (if any) when you're not golfing, directions, etc etc
