I will NOT accept "the x-out, recycled, water balls in a burlap sack that were 50 for $10" either. :D

Minty!

You go into hiding for months at a time, you finally emerge...and THIS is the wisdom you bestow upon us? :(

No "shining words of life-changing epiphany" or anything like that?

Oh..I don't golf. I figure, if you hit the ball and then find it again, you should put the damn thing in your pocket and go home. ;)

I figured that if you guys haven't put up a sail and ridden my wisdom to happiness by now, it'll never happen :D

I got some free samples of the new Dunlop Loco balls (thanks Hot Deals) and I really like them. Might actually shell out the $$ for a couple dozen.

Normally I play some Top-Flite XL 2000's

I play Titleist PRo-V1's with the Lee Company Logo imprinted on them. I think the logo adds for a little extra bounce and roll when they hit the fairway. ;)

I usually go with either a Titleist NXT or Nike Tour Accuracy.

I some times get Pro-V1s but if I ever happen to put one in the water, its like losing 5 bucks
since the balls are so expensive.

I played some Tour Ultimates last week and absolutely fell in love. How much better are the Aces?

I've played a few rounds this week with a soft-cover ball for the first time, ProV1, really starting to like the feel of it. My short game is one of my strong points and the softcover is making it even more fun, you can really control the spin on the ball I'm finding. My irons still suck though I don't think I'm gaining much there.

I ususally play whichever one is closest to the hole, this usually pisses of the original owner though.

Actually, I play the titliest DTs. Good all-around golf ball.

titleist balata or nxt

The precept laddies are very easy to hit and long. Those are fun for simply bombing the ball.

Callaway Reds.

Bought them off of ebay AAA/+ and they cost me $75 for 60. They were in perfect condition. I could not tell they were hit. It was a great deal.

Pinnacle Titanium Power Spin (or something like that; they were relatively cheap and on sale)

I got a ton of those balls a year ago and fortunately I've been playing well enough now to where I haven't lost them all yet. I'm not a great golfer (about a 18-20 handicap), but I've got plenty of power and distance so I personally don't care as much about getting all the latest long distance balls as I care about getting control. Granted, you can have both these days, but since I've still got plenty of those I'll play them till I run out. I've played a some of those Titelist Pro-V1s everyone's raving about due to a friend of mine's persistence, but personally didn't notice that much of a difference. Maybe you've got to be a better golfer than I am to notice.

I got a number of Max-Fli Elite's on the cheap from BigLots last year that I'm still playing. They seem pretty soft and easy to control. I'm not unhappy with them.

What's so special about the V1's? I've heard them mentioned before, but never bothered researching why people rave about them.

Strata or Pinnacle Golds. I've never had much luck with Titleist or Top Flight

I like my dunlop locos I got for free online.
I use some pro v1s that I've found while golfing that were in perfect condition, but I can't afford them otherwise.
I also use some top flight 2000 balls too.
