Lets hear em.

The best tip I have ever heard was in this months Golf Magazine. On the downswing, about 2-3 feet from striking the ball, imagine your club is a screwdriver and turn it counter-clockwise. This helps pop the ball off the face of your club. I tried this out yesterday and I hit my irons better than ever. I had to go down a club selection and was nailing the best shots of my golf "career" (started last year).

I got this from a golf pro that I got paired up with one day a few years back:

If you are a slicer, you can "cure" it by hitting the range and practice hitting short irons with your feet together. Hit about a dozen or so like this (each should go straight as a line but without much distance) and then slowly and in small increments, spread your feet apart until you get to a "normal" stance.

This helped me cure a pretty wicked slice in one range session and has worked with pretty good success ever since.

getting your clubs fitted, or getting fitted clubs. Best decision ever.

And ya, that feet-together method is good, but just make sure it's your left arm (if you're a right-handed swinger) that dominates the swing than your right.

This is something I learned from my pro:
I would put a flexible flag/stake or a tee about 4-5 inches to the left of the ball, and the stake is at an approx 20-30 degree angle from the ball. The line that the ball and the stake/tee/marker makes is your ideal swing path (well for me it is because most of my power came from an inside-out type of swing because i'm relatively short @ 5'8'').

I just make sure that my club hits the stake/tee whenever I hit the ball. Of course, I use RightIsWrong's method too.

With this method, I was a very long player (no longer now due to this lame wrist injury and stupid lower back stiffening up).
