Golf Tip of the day - April 23rd, 2003

Remember when hitting at the driving range to never say the following to your buddies;

"Damn..... haven't you ever wanted to play with those balls?" (as i pointed to the Titleist Pro-V1's sitting near me on the ground)

Oops I dont think ive ever got a stranger look from my friends...

Those are some really nice balls BTW. I'd play with them all the time, but I can't afford to.

I was given a dozen Pro V1's. I have yet to lay a hand on them. They just look sooooooo pretty in their box.

All kidding aside, they're awesome if you're a decent golfer. They're long as hell off the tee, but you can spin them pretty easily with 8 iron or lower. I just can't justify that much money for golf balls even if I don't lose too many any more. I usually fish around for good deals on Maxfli Revolutions and use those.
