i currently have 2 hybrids, a 26 degree nike CPR Wood that i LOVE, i absolutely love this club. i hit it really well 8 or 9 times out of ten. i get nice launches and they hold the green, shoot i played 18 today and 5 shots from between 150 yds to 175 yds from the green and all of them landed and stayed on the green. 4 of them were within 6" of the ball mark.

i also have an 18 degree hybrid (tri orlimar one) and i HATE IT, actually the tri orlimar is a Hypbrid IRON and not a hybrid WOOD like my nike.

i can't hit the 18 degree one worth beans. i hit a 170 yrd drive with it today on a par three and it hooked left and landed just short of the green. :( and i rarely ever hit this club straight.

so the question is, should i buy an 18 degree nike CPR Wood (there are 3 of them 18 degree, 22 degree and the one i have the 26 degree) or the 22 degree CPR wood?

any thoughts?

Go by the distance you need covered. There's going to be about 10-12 yards between the 26* and the 22* and another 10-12 between the 22* and the 18*. Pick the one that will go the distance that you need most often. If still unsure get the 22* rather than the 18*. It will be easier to hit solidly and straighter than the 18*

i'm hitting my 3 wood about 220 from the fairway, i hit my 26 degree about 160.

i really have nothing in between that.

so a 22 degree and a 5 wood should cover the gap right?

i should just pull all the long irons out of my bag.

Based on your current distances a 5-wood should go about 200-205 and the 22* hybrid maybe 172. That still leaves a fairly large gap. You might want to consider either a 7-wood or the 18* hybrid as well as the 5-wood and 22*.
