Anyone know some good places to start looking? I need to get a new bag, and it would be nice if I could get some golf balls cheap too. Thanks.

I was hoping to avoid Ebay entirely if possible. There has to some site out there with cheap golf equipment. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Depend on what kind of Balls that you what Walmart has a 32 pack of Top-Flight for like $16, they aren't in the little boxes though just one big one.

I don't care what kind of balls they are. A golf ball is a golf ball as far as I'm concerned.

I used to think that too, till I hit a couple POS golfballs. Was like hitting rocks. Some course balls. Brand new Dunlop Titanium something. Pure crap.

If you're looking for cheap, just do a google for "custom golf clubs" and see what you find. I bought a set of imitation Titleist 962's a while back. Got to pick out the shaft and the grip. 3-SW cost me about $165 shipped.

The bottom line is that you have to be able to hit the ball. Even POS golfballs will go a long ways if you put a nice swing on one. I was hoping someone would know a quality site that that always carried balls for super cheap. Eh, I'll start looking around.

For anyone living in Canada, you can get used (of varying quality, but 'Grade A' and 'Mint' are both like new) golf balls for amazing prices at www.knetgolf.com. I buy all my golf balls there now. Keep in mind their prices are listed in CDN dollars.

Edit: Oh they have a US store too. How about that.

Now we are getting close to what I'm looking for. If we could find something similar, only in the US, I'd be golden.

I'm liking that.

If you know what you want, just get it off eBay. eBay new clubs will still save you a lot of money over the typical pro shop or online shop prices. As for balls, you shouldn't need so many. I buy a dozen balls and that lasts quite awhile.

If you don't know what types of balls you want to play nor the clubs, I'd recommend getting used clubs until you know what works for you and any ball would work for now.

Cheap balls:

Just go to a local shop (referably a chain ie: Golfsmith) and look for the "sack of onions".

I already have clubs. Thanks for the info everyone.
