im looking to get a new set of clubs...i first set i had was a cheap low quality set for me to learn on...any recommendations or a site with club ratings

go to a golf shop and get fitted for a set. you'd be suprised how different sets will feel as well

OP, if you do a search for "clubs" in OT, you will find there have been a few threads on the topic recently with some excellent links.

actually it is...sure I have np with people asking for product advice but do a search here and then also a google search first so you can be more specific...

I'd suggest going to Dick's Sporting Goods (no jokes needed) and trying out sets till you find one you like.

I would suggest spending $100 to $150 on a used set of clubs on eBay. You can find clubs sets that cost $400 or more new a few years ago in good condition for cheap. Here is golf review.com irons (sorted by most reviews) http://www.golfreview.com/cat/irons/PLS_2940_912crx.aspx It will give you an idea of some of the more popular sets. I have heard good things about cleveland's TA5s and Mizuno T-Zoids.

great site man..thanks guys....any of you heard anything good or bad about the adams gt-2...i have a tight lies driver and love it...i was curious bout the irons too
