Golf Clubs

🙁

I suggest you get clubs custom fit. Go to a local pro instructor, and he can measure you up. Then you send the measurements to any manufacturer who can do customs (i.e. ping, callaway, henry griffiths)

This is the best way. You must have the correct lie and configuration so you can learn the game a lot more easier. Starting off with a badly configured club will definitely ruin your swing in the long run. You don't want to configure your body and swing to your club (can lead to backpain, and other long term injuries)

Even better just find a custom fitter that will measure you and assemble the clubs himself. There's no need to buy name brand irons, especially if you're just starting out. You can get high quality knock offs that are basically the same for half the price. I just got some clubs put together with these heads (not from that site, I got them assembled locally) and I love them.

Edit: those are Ping G2 knockoffs

if you are average height and size, you could just get a set of used clubs and some cheap drivers to see if you like the game first. There is no need to get custom fitted clubs in the beginning. Unless money isn't an issue for you.
