I just ordered a Northwind Rev. 3 goldfinger device and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me before I popped it onto the old Athalon. Thanks,

I just got the same GFD two weeks ago.

Just decide how you will attach your GFD to the Athlon if its case is not yet open.

One of two methods:

Case Notching

or

Case Removal

I chose case removal because I wanted to see what the real core of my new Slot A 750 T-bird was.

yeah...I cracked the case a few weeks ago to change the heatsink...that was nervewracking.....
