I haven't had much time lately to do much studying on new equipment with the state of the union and my JOB...I was planning on building a new sys when i get leave for a few days...Epox mobo 512meg ddr (at least not sure maybe more if i can, depending on mobo??) sb live I have.. xp1900+(better if out by next week). IBM75gxp 30g unless i find a better hdd or 2 in the 30 gig area. realtek or dlink nic, 52x aopen cdrom(should i get a dvd??)..
Okay i bored u enuff..I would like some opinions on vid card and cdrw drive to buy though money isn't a big issue but i like to get value for my dollar. I thought of a gainward GF3 to replace my gladiac gts2 32meg but I'm not sure the golden sample is worth th extra 50$, also i need a new cdrw drive to replace my S&F 8x20 scsi(man i luv this drive)and i am not sure which plex to get , the 16x oem is only 15 less than the 24x oem and software is not an issue, as i use nero anyway. so id u guys could help me out with what YOU think are the best values, or even better sugesstions...I would be for ever greatfull. I appologize in advance for not doing my homework on this one , but time is at a minumum..
PS if u are wondering what i am upgrading from, check my present rig please.
