I have the Gainward Golden Sample geforce 2 TI500 with VIVO. After I installed the unit and the drivers, both the card drivers and Nvidia WDM drivers, I installed the ulead software. I was able to set it up (after a long time of fiddling with set up) and able to record some video from a VCR. It was great! I tried it again with a different tape and again perfection. After shuting down the ulead program and restarting a few minutes later, I receive nothing but static ("SNOW") on the screen. I uninstalled the software and the drivers (even physically removed the card once or twice) and the signal never came back, only snow. Now if the cable (RCA) is unplugged I get nothing, just black screen.
Then I decided to check if it was the machine. So I asked a friend if he would let me try it in his box. Sure enough, it worked just like before, allowing two recordings then just snow.

600 pIII @ 800mhz
256 pc133 ram
Golden sample ti500
Soundblaster live
DVD rom
HP CDR/RW 4x4x20
Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse
Princeton eo900 monitor
Any ideas, help, suggestions? Is the Vi trash on Nvidia cards? Is this card just trash? HELP??????
