take her to the vet ASAP! Goldens commonly have joint problems, or it might be cancer or something bad.

Agreed with the common joint problems, we just had to put our 4 year old Golden down 2 weeks ago:( for severe bilateral hip displacia. Both hips had come from their sockets and looking at the xrays she didn't have the bone structure to support replacement, was also a extremely poor candidate for hip replacement. One of the best dogs I ever owned.

If it just started, check to see if there is anything stuck between her paw pads. My dog was limping pretty bad due to a small piece of a stick getting matted in between her paw pads. Once we removed that, problem solved.

If you don't find anything, you should probably go to a vet.

I would probably go ahead and take the dog to the vet. They usually know quite a bit about these kinds of situations.

Definitely go to the vet. We had ours on some Glucosamine tablets for a while. Just the stuff you can buy at WalGreens or whatever. Glucosomine Condroitin or something. Also we give our dog Bufferin any time we go for a really long walk since it's coated in such a way to digest later in the system or something. Was recommended by our vet.

Well you know i would love to take her to the vet but if it is something simple like a stick or a thorn, why bother.. and its not her hips, its her front leg.. But i guess now i better take her to the vet cuz its not getting better, thanks everyone

How old is she? We have a retriever, 11 years old now, and he's started limping on his front right. It's not a thorn or a stone I checked.

They apparently have problems with their back legs, and he does have trouble with stairs and such now because of that, but I never heard about problems in the front legs...

seeing as you have already waited 1 or 2 months, perhaps making an appointment as soon as possible would be good.

This isn't a human being we are talking about. It's a stinking sub-human animal that does not carry the same legalities.

My golden is the best dog i have ever owned as well, he is going on 12 years now, luckly no hip problems (really grateful for that). My golden has been a huge part of my life, its making me sad just thinking about your story.
