Gold PSU with running fan on idle

I'm looking for an 80-plus gold PSU. I've had a look at Corsair AX 750 and Seasonic X-760. In my case (()🙂) the PSU fan will be sucking out air from the GPU area, so I need the PSU fans to run (slowly) even at low load.

Both the AX 750 and Seasonic 760 fans are off on low load, so they do not suit my needs.

Any recommendations on low-noise gold PSU:s with fans running even on idle power?

With the efficiency of gold rated power supplies, most ps sellers/manufacturers have chosen to have no fan running until internal temps hit certain level, like SuperFlower's 70C temp. Only then will the fan turn on. I think you'll find this the case across most gold and platinum power supplies....their efficiency is so high that the manufacturers have chosen to go fanless at very low loads. Going for low noise over fans that continually run, which in gold and platinum rated power supplies, is easy enough to do.

You're going to have to do a lot of looking, I'd guess, to find one that has its fan continually on.

Modern PC chassis design no longer uses the PSU as an exhaust fan, as older ATX cases with top-mounted PSUs did.

You shouldn't, either.

Really? The only Gold PSU's that have hybrid fan control, that I know of, are Seasonic X series (560W and higher) and corsair AX series. But plenty of good quality gold units are offered from other brands, including Antec, NZXT, OCZ, Kingwin, FSP, Cooler Master, Silverstone. All of these are hybrid controlled, you say?

Coolermaster SP and SPH both turn the fan off at Idle. The SPH actually can run as high as 200w before it starts spinning up.

Also most golds/good PSU's have the fan controlled by internal heat levels. No body runs there stuff at 100% any more. I would assume most if not all would go into a either a ridiculously low load spin, or shut down went at idle with no substantial power draw.
