I'm picking up a set of wheel locks. I like spline guard design and Mcgard is a trusted name.

I've pretty much found what i wanted but i think the colors dont match my wheels. I have a graphite color G35 and well stock silver color wheels. I wanted to get these GOLD lug nuts mainly for function but to change things up a bit. But i dont think they look as nice as they would like a black wheel setup.

It depends on the color and style of the car and wheels. Gold can be more muted than chrome when used sparingly.

Especially if by sparingly you mean not at all.

OP flirts with a HIV-ridden skank here, I'm afraid. What at a distance may have seemed to offer enjoyment the long-term repercussions of his actions could be more injurious to his physical and mental self than he sees now. And he may laugh, thinking my comparison hyperbole but it absolutely is not. What starts with gold lugs ends with

Won't work well with the OEM silver wheels in my opinion.

I've used McGards for years and never had an issue with them.. :/

those are the splined kind. list something decent then. i posted up about the color but we can talk about the design as well.

I dont see how you can really break the KEY if you use a breaker bar. Its easy to impact and break them. I dont like the thin walls on the barrel but they should do in most cases. Compared to the other's ive seen. This is just as good. Show me something you believe is a superior design, in tuner lug style. OEM rims have bigger openings compared to aftermarket wheels.

if your talking about them being crap in terms of peeling and rusting, well most lugs do that over time. i think i glanced and saw warranty replacements for that but not a big concern. I wanted something to least scared away the stupid thieves, i understand and know if they want your wheels they will take it.
I'm planning on picking up a set of gun metal or some type of darker setup and at one point i should be picking up a set of front brembos in gold.

This is the picture that started it all..

I had some mutegi lugs on my Civic, they fit perfectly and looked nice. Probably not the best lugs in the world, but they were pretty.

What the hell do you need wheel locks for? No one wants your rims.

why the hell do you think wheel locks will stop someone who want your wheels from taking them? they will take them if they want them enough. thats with anything in life.

I really want to switch things up and thats all. I have black mutekis now, paint is flaking. I'm really not interested in the wheel locks but more of the color.
