Library orientation today. Inside the library are a small bank of computers for the kids to use. 7th graders.

"Can I use the computer?"

"No, you can't use the computer to play games. This is the library. You're supposed to be looknig at books."

I have a couple gems from my days as a substitute teacher. These are my favorite two.

Scenario 1: Two first grade girls sit at their table just before school starts.

Girl 1: Nu-uh. You don't have a boyfriend.
Girl 2: Yes, I do. I have a boyfriend.
Girl 1: Nu-uh. Not a real boyfriend.
Girl 2: Yes. A real boyfriend.
Girl 1: Whatever. Anyway, you should be worrying about clothes at your age instead of boys. Now, I have a real boyfriend.

Scenario 2: Two Second Grade boys and a girl stand behind me during playtime.
Boy 1: He's a douche.
Boy 2: Yes he is.

Hell I am IN college, and don't use the internet for much more than games, porn, neffing, and learning random things that have no bearing on my life and only time it could be useful is in trivia type situations and proving people wrong.
